Size: 33-39cm

Description: The female is slightly larger than male. Both sexes are brownish on the upperparts, the male being more rufous and has blue-grey head and tail. Is often seen hovering most often seen alongside motorway and road verges.

The Kestrel is Britains most common falcon.
